Many SME's are waking up to the benefits of VoIP and hosted voice services.

With almost 40% of UK businesses dealing with irritating nuisance calls on a daily basis and a recent Which? survey revealing two thirds of consumers wanting cold calling to be banned, there is an increased demand for telecoms services that can tackle these problems directly.

Below Neil Hammerton CEO of Natterbox, a provider of hosted voice solutions explains that time has been called on traditional PBX systems and provides some tips on how businesses can benefit from VoIP and hosted voice services.

  • As well as dealing with the nuisance call, businesses need phone systems which are low cost but that can also deliver a great user experience and enhance productivity. The cost savings that can be made with VoIP and hosted voice services are significant, whether you are a one man bad or large enterprise.

  • Whilst VoIP is one route for businesses to go down in order to make cheaper calls, there are alternative solutions available which are more affordable and simple to manage.  One service in particular is hosted voice which uses intelligent technology to allow users better control and management of inbound calls.

  • Imagine a service that ensures every customer call is routed to the relevant account managers whilst making sure that unwanted or time wasting calls are automatically rejected. What if both internal and external calls could be routed to landlines, mobiles and computers, anywhere in the world, dynamically as if it were just to another office extension? Or what if calls that came into your business could be routed to multiple devices at once?  A hosted voice platform does all of the above and more and doesn't require any additional hardware or software to be purchased or installed.

We've seen a huge amount of interest in our hosted voice platform since we launched.  We believe that a service that works in conjunction with all voice platforms and without the need for any software or hardware to be deployed will revolutionise the telecoms industry.

Natterbox is a hosted voice provider for businesses, whose vision is to provide smart and simple to use voice communications solutions.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
