Tuesday, 29 May 2012 09:43

The promotion runs until 31 July 2012 and is open to local businesses located in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Facebook Inc
(NASDAQ:FB) has today launched "Small Business Boost", an online promotion offering small businesses free advertising credit on the social networking site. Eligible participants will be awarded £20 or £60 on rolling basis, to a maximum of 50,000 participants.

Participants who have fifty "likes" at entry will qualify to receive £20 credit redeemable for Facebook Ad products. Participants who obtain an additional one hundred likes during the promotion period beyond the number of likes they had at the time of entry (if 50 likes or greater) or beyond the hundred likes obtained during the promotion period, will receive an additional £60 credit.

Each Page/participant is eligible for up to one £20 and one £60. The initial credit value £20 will be delivered automatically though the Promotion Site when submitting an entry, provided the Page meets the criteria set out of having a Page which is in the regions specified, has 50 likes, and was categorized as ‘Local’ at Page setup. The further £60 ad credit awards will be delivered to winners via email within seven days after the qualifying one hundred additional likes milestone is achieved.

Full value of all ad credits must be redeemed within three months from the date of issue, which is determined by the date the credit is awarded to winner.

The Small Business Boost promotion runs until 31 July 2012 and is open to local businesses located in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
