incrediblue is an online platform that makes yachting holidays accessible to all. SME spoke to Antonios Fiorakis, CEO and co-founder incrediblue to find out more…
Tell me about your role – what does a typical day look like for you?
Being the CEO is a very important role but in a start up environment it means that you get your hands dirty with multiple things and no two days are the same. For example, I’m responsible for recruitment, product management and fundraising to name but a few, so I’m often meeting with lots of different people and working on several projects at once. The most important thing is maintaining momentum and keeping everyone aligned on the business goals. It’s tough to manage a fast-growing company that goes from three people to eight, and then to 16 in such a short time.
Who are your biggest competitors? What makes your company special compared to its competitors?
Our biggest competitors are sites that offer holidays in villas and apartments. Our product is ideal for groups, such as families or groups of friends, thus it’s in direct comparison with these alternate travel options. Obviously, the fact we’re an unusual, luxury experience sets us apart. However, we also strive to differentiate ourselves through the customer experience we provide and the simplicity of using the incrediblue platform.
Tell me about your clients – who purchases your products?
Our clients are groups, mainly between the age of 28 and 45, and can be friends, families or couples. We see our product as an affordable luxury, so our customers tend to be well-travelled but tired of the same old hotel room. They want to try something new and exciting.
