Le Collectionist is a luxury travel brand offering a selection of holiday rentals around the world. SME caught up with Eliott Cohen-Skalli, co-founder and chief marketing officer to find out more…
How do you use social media? Does it help you engage with your client base?
We think social media is very important. We use the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to showcase our amazing properties. The trend of appreciating beautiful properties online is on the up, so these social channels are perfect platform for a luxury property rental like Le Collectionist so show just how good our properties really are!
What new technology/apps are you considering using?
We are thinking about new and disruptive ways to showcase our villas. Drone, indoor virtual reality, live Facetime with customers in the house, we will decide what to implement in the coming months.
We are also looking to bring out an app later this year for both the clients and the guests of Le Collectionist. The app will provide ‘local tips’ specific to each area where Le Collectionist has a presence and will allow for easy contact between the guest and the 24hr concierge.
What technology/apps have you been most impressed with over the past 12 months?
We have been very impressed by Stripe.
What is your vision for the future? Are you looking to expand?
We are constantly looking to expand and find new experiences and properties to propose to our clients. HNWI are more and more demanding and are looking for a more personalised approach. Thanks to technology, we can now gather more client insight than before and we can better address their needs. Travel companies need to clearly move in that direction to offer a one of a kind experience.
