Tell me about your role – what does a typical day look like for you?
Each day I try to execute our growth plans, from marketing to business development, whilst at the same time ensuring that we are fulfilling our obligations to members. There is an incredible amount of variety, and when combined with designing new web technology, no two days are the same. The nature of my role means that it is easy to uphold the company philosophies of dynamism and dedication.
Who are your biggest competitors? What makes your company special compared to its competitors?
As the industry is in its infancy, we don’t believe that we have any direct competitors, but rather, there are other companies that are building the industry alongside us. We all offer different products and experiences, with the same underlying asset class. Property Partner, for example, offer properties with lower income than ours, but as they are focused in London and the South East, there is the potential for significant capital gains. We also have different entry points: you can invest on Property Moose with £10, and on Property Partner from £50.
Tell me about your clients – who purchases your products?
We have members aged 18 to 90, but the largest group is the 25- 35 year olds. As a result of our low entry point, £10, anybody really does have the opportunity to invest using our platform. Many investors put in much larger amounts than £10, and our average investment is much higher. Our members are also located all over the world – in more than 40 jurisdictions and counting.
